In the last month, Forbes released the 2007 ¡°Top 200 Middle and Small Sized Listed Enterprises in Asia¡±, and Hengan International Group Corporation ranked the top 10. The reference of Forbes ¡°Top 200 Middle and Small Sized Listed Enterprises in Asia¡± are the annual income and increase rate of continuous 3 years of the enterprises with annual sales income less than USD1 billion --- which is the powerful group rank which is much higher than the average market increase.
In recent years, Hengan has earned high popularity from investors with steady increase and outstanding achievements. In 2005, the sales income of Hengan increased 30% and reached RMB3.03 billion; profit increased 50% and reached RMB450 million. In 2006, the sales income kept the increase of over 30%; in the first half year of 2007, the sales income also kept steady increase of 30% and the profit increased 42%, and reached RMB470 million. In 2007, for both sales income and profit, Hengan has expanded 5 times compared with that of in 2002.
Outstanding achievements promotes the enormous fortune of the founder and chargers of the Hengan Group, and Shi Wenbo and Xu Lianjie of Hengan Group ranked in top 10 with USD7.88 million and USD7.8 million.
Forbes Asia Top 200 Best Middle and Small Sized Enterprises are selected from the enterprises whose annual sales volume is less than USD1 billion in Asia-Pacific region according to the annual income and increase rate of continuous 3 years. The Forbes Annual Best Middle and Small Sized Enterprises List composes of top 200 of above enterprises. In the enterprises whose annual sales volume less than USD1 billion, the top 200 enterprises are selected according to the constant income rate and increase rate, and the development of the enterprises are evaluated according to the list.
2007 is the 10th year after the Asian Financial Crisis. During the 10 years, the flourishing and healthy development of Asian economy owes to the middle and small sized enterprises.
